Peaches

My style is Quirky, whimsical, timeless, vintage, I suppose I’d have to say eclectic as that covers all bases!

I’m inspired by  Vintage posters, tins and packaging, sign writing, … Folk art has been a big inspiration for my illustration work. I’m also inspired by our hometown of Shrewsbury and beautiful countryside.

Summer Garden

My favourite piece from the new collection is Our ‘Sumer Garden’ range. It has a really fun folky feel to it, but the layout allows for traditional wording.

Trends I love right now Bride and groom branding. The use of a logo and type set throughout all wedding stationery that can then be continued in personal stationery post wedding.  I also love wedding cocktails, it’s a fun way to inject bright colours and they don’t have to be alcoholic, so kids can enjoy them too!

Bumble

Designers I admire There are so many, Jessica Hische, Rob Ryan, Mary Kate McDevitt. I’m a big fan of UK printmakers Bold and Noble, our office is full of their prints.

I love my job because Since becoming a mum, being my own boss has aloud me to be flexible with my working hours. This does mean that I’m usually up until two or three in the morning doing my clients design proofs, but I get time in the day to play with the little one.

Stellar

Weddings make me  stressed! My husband and I were a little laid back with our wedding plans and to be honest it showed! The couples we work with tend to approach their wedding day with military style planning but the results are totally worth it!

Ephemera

My advice for couples planning their wedding is  If you want guests to mail back their RSVP cards, include stamped (and addressed) envelopes or stamped RSVP postcards. That way guests don’t have to pay for the postage and it makes things a little easier for them. We recently did a survey amongst our customers and found 75% of guests returned their RSVP by the RSVP due date. Another option is to include an RSVP email address or a mobile number for calls and text messages.
