Rebekah & Tristan

Beach engagement photos are just the ticket for this not quite winter almost Spring weekend and these shots of Rebekah and Tristan from photographer Sugarblush Photography  are warm, light and beautiful.
Rebekah tells how they met. “We met at a BBQ, hosted by a mutual friend. After I gave Tristan my number, he said he’d call in a few days, but he couldn’t wait and called later that night! That’s been our mantra from day one, no games, no secrets, just say what you’re feeling and be honest.”

“We just complement each other so well. I think when you know someone so well, you tend to figure where you can support the other person, and how they can support you. We are best friends.”

“We went on holidays to Vietnam and one part in particular that we were really looking forward to was a visit to Ha Long Bay. We set out on a beautiful, old, wooden Chinese boat (which we had all to ourselves), and as we were cruising around these calm beautiful bays, in between islands and limestone cliffs, Tristan got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! It is a magical memory.”

“We live by the beach and we just wanted our photos to reflect our natural and outdoorsy lifestyle. When I found Sugarblush, I knew I wanted Yena to photograph our wedding. Her photos are so pure, natural and beautifully composed.”
