Autumn is a popular time for NJ weddings thanks to the vast array of choices in New Jersey and surrounding areas where to host the wedding ceremonies and receptions. Popular designer Melissa Sweet did an interview with Huffington Post recently and said that short dresses, illusion necklines and deep shades of ivory are all in-demand options for bride’s dresses. Sweet also says that dramatic blacks, popular last season, will continue to be a popular choice among NJ weddings brides. Small ruffles or petals for bridal gowns are also very trendy for this year’s fall NJ weddings as it creates a figure-friendly look.

Like wedding gowns there are several options to choose from when finding bridesmaid dresses for NJ weddings in the fall. Deeper hues like rich violets, browns and dark greens are all excellent choices for the fall. Also remember that its not always necessary to let the seasons dictate what colors you use in your weddings. Less traditional colors for bridesmaid dresses are also popular this season so make the colors work for your wedding before the season. Even yellows, grays and rusted reds are excellent choices for fall NJ weddings.

If you are a guest, how you dress for fall NJ weddings will depend on the wedding you attend. If you are attending a classic black tie style wedding men should wear tuxedos and women should wear formal gowns.
