Nicola and Timothy

I have never had a pillow fight, but something about them seems like good old fashioned fun- so this pillow fight engagement shoot from Esther of Frame and Bloom Photography seems like a fun way to celebrate an engagement- who needs a serious face when you can have this much fun?

Close friends of the photographer, Esther says, “Nicola and Tim both love to play soccer. Nicola was training with my brother’s team early in 2010, when Tim turned up to join that same team. It was not quite love at first sight, but soccer training sessions soon turned into group social events, late night dinners and long conversations. It was another year before Tim asked her out on our first date.”

“Nicola and Tim got engaged on 22nd of September 2012. As Nicola said, “It was the best day of my life so far.” Tim had organised a ‘date day’. We went out for breakfast in this gorgeous eclectic cafe, before hitting up the Melbourne Aquarium. Lunch on the beach meant a walk to the nearby jetty, where Tim got down on one knee.”

“The idea for the photo shoot came to me after I realised that Nicola and Tim love sports and are a couple that is full of energy. I picked a spot near the Dandenong Ranges where I hoped that no one would see the feathers flying around!! The weather was perfect, beautiful sunny winter afternoon. We had lots of fun and most importantly we took some awesome photos!!!”
