It’s starting to feel like fall here, windy and cooling down a bit. Last year I started making my own applesauce, and I think the weather is just right to make up a batch this weekend. Served warm with a dollop of crème fraîche… it’s totally appropriate for breakfast, but tastes like dessert! We’re also leaving baby with my mom for the night so we can go to a friend’s engagement party, and even though I’ve left her for a few hours before, I’ve always been there to put her to bed. I know Caroline will be fine, but hopefully I’ll be fine, too!
