Hi Sophie, could you firstly tell WWW readers a little bit about you?

 

Hi, I am Sophie Webber, designer and owner of Little Stringer Invites. I have been working as an illustrator for over 6 years and LOVE designing and creating contemporary wedding stationery for the modern couple!

 

What do you love/dislike about your job?

 

I love the creativity my job brings. I enjoy working with couples who are looking to create something ‘a bit different’ for their wedding stationery. Whether they have set ideas, or do not know where to start, I love the creative process and turning their needs and ideas into a reality. I love to hear their feedback when they receive the final product!

 

 

How did you get into design and into the wedding industry?

I have always been a designer and my main job used to be designing greetings cards and other stationery and gift products. I had designed a few wedding stationery ranges for friends and I really enjoyed it. After receiving some great positive feedback about my designs, I decided to take it further. After getting married myself last year, I realised there is a lack of fresh and modern wedding stationery in the market and I couldn’t wait to share my passion for modern stationery design with couples looking for something unique, and so I set up Little Stringers Invites.

 

 

What do you aim to achieve for your clients?

 

I aim to design unique, leading edge wedding stationery that is fresh and original and meets my clients’ needs, providing an easy and stress free ordering process. All my set designs are totally customisable. I want to help make my clients wedding day something extra special and something to be remembered. All stationery is designed, assembled and packaged to a very high standard.

 

 

What style is your work?

 

My work has been described as fresh, imaginative, contemporary and sophisticated and is design based rather than craft based.

Could you tell us some information about your packages/prices?

 

Little Stringers Invites offers both set design ranges and also a bespoke design service. Clients can choose from the set stationery design ranges where invitations start at £1.15 per invite. This includes personalisation with their own wording, their names and their choice of colours, and also includes envelopes. If there is not a set design range suitable then couples can opt for the bespoke design service where we work together to create a wedding stationery range that is completely unique and personal to them, their lives and their wedding. Do you have any tips for couples in selecting their wedding stationery?

I would say it is good to do lots of research and get lots of inspiration, but don’t worry about what is fashionable or has been done before, think about yourselves and what you like! Couples should go with what feels right for them and their wedding. Your wedding stationery should reflect you as a couple, your lives and personalities. Every wedding is different and every wedding is personal!
