For all of you brides-to-be who LOVE color and are looking for fun ways to incorporate it into your big day, get ready to be inspired by today’s dynamic + beautiful styled shoot! Staged against the clean-lined backdrop of Portland’s Jupiter Hotel, the team (led by Lacy of Form & Flora and Christa of Christa-Taylor Photography) infused the setting with a flurry of colorful, mod details that are so pretty, you just might feel transported to the perfectly decked out, mid-century setting of a Jonathan Adler store. Here’s a bit more about the shoot from Christa:

We wanted to give brides a fresh perspective on what a wedding could look like and we found inspiration in 1950′s Pop Art, bold colors, geometric patterns and vibrant paint hues. We fought to keep it clean and modern, yet still romantic and relatable. Some of my favorite details were the customized soda bottles and “paint bucket” flower vases.

Love the color-block style floral design and, of course, those ”paint bucket” vessels. So rad!

We hand-dipped plateware that was repurposed from local consignment shops + thrift stores. The flatware took an instant upgrade when dipped white and arranged over the geometric napkins. The place setting was made complete with sweet truffle favors from designer Dot Shoppe.

The desert spread consisted of a sweet rainbow cake + donuts from Portland’s very own Voodoo Doughnuts! Love the pops of yellow + teal incorporated into the table design!
