3 Pretty Looks to Try for Your Thanksgiving Dinner

Preparing for a Thanksgiving feast with the family can be taxing. We may not be able to help you with your pumpkin piecrust (nor would you want us to), but we can help you get ready for the holiday in another way. Given that we know our way around a makeup bag way better than we navigate the kitchen, we figured we would take holiday beauty prep off of your Thanksgiving Day plate. Here are our three family photo approved beauty looks to try this Thursday.

Scarlet Stain

On a day that involves as much eating as Turkey Day, your basic lipstick isn’t going to cut it. Luckily, lip stains of the burgundy and berry variety fully accomplish holiday chic minus the annoyance of multiple applications. Arrive to Thanksgiving dinner totally on trend in Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Everlasting Burgundy or L’Oréal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Berry Persistent.

Rosy Glow

A family affair centered around one massive meal may not be the perfect occasion to whip out the high shine red lip gloss or green glitter eyeliner, but that doesn’t mean your look can’t incorporate some color. Try a bright blush applied liberally to the apples of your cheeks for a pretty, just-hopped-off-the-slopes kind of flush. Dust on Lancôme Blush Subtil in Shimmer Pink Pool or Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Hussy and keep the rest of your makeup simple.

Flawless Skin

If you happen to be a little color shy, why not play up your features and show off a flawless complexion? Keep color to a minimum, but sculpt the slim nose and high cheekbones of your dreams. Because if there is one day of the year when contouring magic is needed, it’s Thanksgiving. Just highlight and contour your face, fill in your brows, add mascara and you’ll be looking every bit the natural beauty this holiday.

Do you have your holiday look all planned out? Do share!
