Floor-to-ceiling windows that showcased a panoramic view of the misty Gatineau Hills served as the perfect backdrop for Matt and Maria’s romantic ceremony. “A string quartet played as we exchanged both traditional and personal vows,” Maria describes. Following a dinner celebration adorned with wildflowers and candles, Matt and Maria danced to an upbeat version of Frank Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight.” The song choice was in honour of the bride’s late grandmother who was a big fan of the hit singer. “While we shared our first dance as a married couple, dusk fell and our guests lit sparklers,” Maria reminisces.  “It was a pretty unforgettable moment.”
