This morning is the perfect time to get into the festive mood. And there is no better way than with this gorgeous styled wedding shoot.

Iscoyd Park within the beautiful grounds, is perfectly set with a striking rustic cake, Christmas inspired florals, atmospheric lighting and a touch of tartan. The stylish attire consisted of a groom in tweed and quirky buttonhole and the bride in Pronovias and fur. Oh my.

Thanks so much to the wonderful Victoria Phipps for sharing her photographs with us today, here is what she had to say about the shoot;

“Our aim was to create some beautiful images of a rustic outdoor winter wedding. We wanted it to feel cold and wintry, so the scene was set just as daylight was fading in the grounds of Iscoyd Park.

We commandeered a lovely old timber and brick shelter in the stable courtyard and set the scene for our shoot. The timber was dressed with holly, ivy, berries, gold twine and fairy lights and even a strategically placed sprig of mistletoe! Emma Fawcett-Eustace created some beautiful flowers for the shoot with a relatively loose brief. We asked for ‘Christmas meets the great outdoors’ and she created the loveliest centre pieces which included beautiful red roses, oranges and dramatic long feathers. Our tartan clad table was the perfect showcase for these beautiful flowers and the lovely rough-iced 4-tiered wedding cake by Cake Chester. We then decorated the table with nuts, pomegranates, candles and two place settings. The elegant wedding stationery was designed and supplied by Kerry at Project Pretty and fitted perfectly with our winter theme perfectly.

Enter the gorgeous groom. Tom wore a tweed waistcoat and bow tie with a chocolate brown suit. The lovely buttonhole he wore consisted of a red rose, feathers and just a splash of orange and the colours really popped. Our bride looked absolutely fabulous in her classic white slash neck Pronovias bridal gown and a variety of cosy vintage furs. She carried a simple bouquet of red roses and ribbon. Since it was advent we also put together a bridal take on a Christingle, complete with white ribbon which traditionally symbolises peace.

Once the sun had set we took a few more photographs of our intimate winter wedding scene at night. We used candles, more fairy lights and sparklers to create quite a charming, romantic atmosphere. Steph wore a more playful ivory and gold gown, also by Pronovias, teamed with a fantastic party head piece and loose locks. It was a lovely way to end the shoot, but at just above freezing I suspect our models were keen to get inside and thaw out by the fire at the end of the day!”
