How was your Christmas?

Mine was great, lots of time with family, too much food and I got spoilt. It was a great chance for me to relax and switch off, as being self employed Christmas is pretty much the only downtime I get in the year.

We decorated our home for the first time, took A to see Father Christmas who was in a plane, went ice skating, A got some new toys for the garden, I made some imporomptu table arrangements on Christmas day, my mum triumphed at the Christmas dinner and I showed A my first Christmas bauble...

Memories I hope A will treasure forever, I sure will. For new years we had a quiet night in and caught a film, enjoyed a roaring fire and some fish and chips. We've been swimming, visited family, friends popped by and had fun and games. I am now refreshed and ready for the year ahead :-)
