You all know how much we love to shout about our sponsors. It makes them feel good, it makes us feel good, and it helps you plan your wedding. Everyone's a winner!

Today we're talking pictures. Louise Adby, whose images are making this page look pretty, fell in love with photography at a young age.

'My Dad was a photographer so I grew up surrounded by all things photography; cameras old and new and hundreds of family albums. I ended up being a stand-in for shoot set ups and my sister even used to babysit me in my Dad's mobile developing lab!' 'I photographed my first wedding 7 years ago, when two close friends from Uni asked me to document their big day. I had just finished studying graphic design with photography and was working as a video editor and producer, but I knew photography was where I wanted to head with my career, so I jumped at the chance. It was a drizzly and very cold November's day, and I still remember the goose bumps on my friend's arms (and mine), but I absolutely loved it! Capturing the atmosphere, romance and such genuine expression was incredibly fulfilling. I am so happy that I was trusted to photograph their day, and thankful to them for setting me on the path to becoming a wedding photographer.'

Louise tells me she loves to find fresh perspectives and document what she sees in a creative and artistic way through a mix of classic photojournalism and fine art.

'I am inspired by design, the people I meet, the art hanging on the walls in the Rijksmuseum (especially the paintings by Rembrandt, his use of light is so beautiful!), cinematography and even music videos. I can find myself watching them for hours!' 'It is so important to me that you don't notice me on your day (apart from during the formal group portrait session). I try and stay in the background as much as possible.'

Louise is passionate about producing something tangible for her clients.

'I really believe wedding images should be treasured in print. We live in a digital era; we take the photo, upload and share the images on facebook or other digital platforms, and then we forget all about them! It worries me so, so much. In 50 years time we are going to have a generation with no images of their family to look back on. That's why I have done away with my CD only package and provide photoboxes and albums within all my collections. I want my clients to have something they can cherish and enjoy forever.'

Louise is currently based in London, but also spends a lot of time in the beautiful city of Amsterdam where her Dutch fiancé is based. She loves travelling and exploring new places, whether that's in the UK or half way across the world, and will gladly travel near and far to capture your day.

Prices start from £1550 and all collections include an engagement session, full day of photography {commencing 2 hours before the ceremony and finishing 2 hours after the first dance}, 500+ high-resolution images on USB, a private online gallery and the option to choose between a photobox or traditional/ contemporary album.

Much love,
