Wedding celebrations hosted at home such as this Eco Friendly Karoo Style Garden Wedding, South Africa have become popular with couples longing for a jovial family affair where everyone lends a hand and guests can casually enjoy the festivities. James and Jen's outdoor garden wedding was just that.

Festive and informal, their outdoor wedding at home was an absolute hit with live music filling the air, magical lighting strewn above and a beautiful array of freshly-picked blooms.

Despite moody dark skies and a little rain, Ross Talling Photography artfully captured breathtaking portraits of the newlyweds atop Bodmin Moor, as well as every charming detail at their outdoor garden wedding reception.

(Above) Braided Bridal Upstyle: Jen had her hair styled in a romantic updo with a braided crown and miniature flowers.

(Above) Vintage Wedding Dress: With her dressmaking experience, Jen upcycled a secondhand lace wedding dress, which she wore with a navy blue embellished sash. She looked beautiful.

Cornwall Church Wedding Ceremony

Their wedding ceremony was held the cute little stone St Pauls Church in Upton Cross.

(Above) Meaningful Wedding Decor: As Jen is a horse-lover and James a mountain biking enthusiast, horse shoes and bike gears were used to decorate the church and incorporated in their reception decor.

(Above) Outdoor Couple Photo Session: Bodmin Moor was the setting for a few stunning couple photographs including a few with some ponies.

Outdoor Garden Wedding Reception

The couple's wedding reception was held outdoors in their family garden beneath strings of lightbulbs and bunting.

(Above) Vintage Wedding Bunting: Colourful fabric bunting in vintage prints were strewn above the wedding tables at their garden reception.

(Above) Photo Wedding Guestbook: Snapshots of their wedding guests were taken and pegged as a backdrop to their dessert table. Their guests recorded their special wedding messages on brown card tags, which they tied alongside their photo snapshot.
