Happy day of LOVE! What could be a better way to start off this most romantic of celebrations than a Valentine's inspired bridal shoot... with a twist (of course!)?

There are so many touches that I love in this set of photos - the hay bales with the hearts on, the colourful DIY fans or the heart garlands would make for incredible ceremony backdrops. There are some seriously sweet buffet table ideas and the gold and yellow tablescape is a really lovely and original take on the theme.

Oh and let's not forget all the gorgeous vintage dresses from Ooh Mrs James. The best bit? They're all under £450!

"The idea for this shoot was 'Love Rocks', a less traditional Valentines wedding shoot", explained stylist Jasmine Orchard. "We wanted to incorporate the love heart shape in mass (it is Valentines Day after all) but without it being over the top girly, taking a more fresh and edgy approach with a slight retro feel to it."

"To play on the words 'Love Rocks', we used gold trolleys filled with rock sweets and heart valentines biscuits. We also had circus style, light up LOVE letters and of course an abundance of hanging heart chains, heart balloons and some wedding heart shaped pavlovas!"
