Vintage Love In Germany.

Vintage Love In Germany.

This afternoon lovelies we're jetting off to Germany for Ferdi and Julia's vintage inspired affair. We're approaching it from a slightly different angle this time round as it's actually the pair's photographer - Katinka - that will be talking us through her view of the day.

I for one love Julia's oh so chic drop waist gown which she paired with the sweetest rose and gypsophila bouquet. And just wait until you see her perfectly embellished floral inspired headdress...you will die!

I also need to make reference to Julia's pearl stud earrings which I've not seen on many brides of late but they suit her right down to the ground; a wedding trend that needs bringing back methinks. Or actually just a sartorial choice that we need to see more of generally in everyday life.

Coco Chanel would be proud.

Katinka The Photographer:It was a real DIY wedding here in Germany. Julia, the bride, created most of all the details on her own including the escort cards for their guests, all of which are hand written and stamped. The delicious macarons were made by her mum and every single guest loved them!

Julia was a bride inspired by everything vintage and collected all her big day ideas on her pinterest board. One of the most romantic things about Julia and Ferdi's story is the fact that the two bought their rings on their last journey to New York during the summer at Tiffanys; for Julia it was very special and very romantic.

Julia walked down the aisle with her beloved dad and almost started crying when she saw Ferdi for the first time that day. The ceremony was hold by the wonderful Gundula Seifert-Hirth. During the ceremony a wonderful soul singer called Don came up with some wonderful songs and the rings were carried by a little boy from the family.
