The wedding blogger gets married!

via

Happy Monday and welcome to another fabulous week! I have a really good feeling about this week, magical things are going to happen I am sure of it. It is always such an honour to be a small part of someone's wedding journey and feature their wedding on the blog, but today I am thrilled to be able to share with you the wedding of fellow wedding blogger Julie from Fragments de Rêves.

Set in the beautiful countryside of Provence, Julie uses flashes of vibrant red to add a burst of colour into her DIY styled wedding. I love the South of France and Julie's wedding set in the stunning Provencal countryside and the rustic charm of the Domaine de Sulauze has me yearning to visiting again soon.

Julie takes us through their love story: " The first time we met it was for my best friend (and my best man) anniversary in 2007. In December 2009, he asked me to marry him and, sure, I said yes! We decided to plan the wedding in 2013, 3 and half years to dream , to think, to prepare our wedding...

Since we first started to discuss the wedding, we decided to have a DIY style with no fresh flowers, but a lot of origami in a beautiful venue with exposed stones. It was also very important that the celebration featured a lot of very good food, as my husband is a butcher!.After an exhaustive search, we finally found our wedding venue, one with large exposed stones and room for our 150 guests in Provence, near where we live! Our perfect venue was in the middle of a beautiful vineyard near my parent's home, called Domaine de Sulauze. The first thing I bought for the wedding was my dress on a New York holiday in summer 2012. I love the Saja dresses and when I planned my holiday to New York, I couldn't resist making an appointment in the Nolita store. I bought my dress and carried it in my luggage all the way home !

For me my favorite moments of the day was, the first time we saw each other as bride and groom. I was so stressed that he might not like my dress but there was nothing to worry about, and the exchanging of our vows, was full of emotion, full of love... "
