A French Forest Fairytale.

A French Forest Fairytale.

This afternoon we're venturing into wedding fantasy land. French wedding fantasy land to be precise. Which is definitely a wonderful place to be.

This dreamy inspiration shoot comes from the lovely Louise at B.Loved who always sends us the prettiest, most romantic inspiration features.

Think blowsy roses, lashings of sage green foliage, delicate hearted shaped macarons, tiny gold forest animals and the most beautiful, unashamedly feminine Johanna Hehir gowns.

And if you loved the photography from this mornings wedding, then you'll be pleased to know that this shoot was captured by the same photographer. Yes, Anneli Marinovich really is a super star.

Enjoy the pretty lovely ones.

Our French Forest Fairytale shoot was inspired by the romance and whimsy of childhood dreams, and the rustic textures of the forest, in an enchanting palette of blush pink, mushroom, moss green and ivory. Shot in the grounds of a beautiful converted chapel, on the edge of the beautiful forest of Hesdin, the surrounding countryside provided the perfect backdrop.

The first of our Bridal looks picks up on two key trends, lace and low-cut back details. The slim silhouette of 'Catherine' by Johanna Hehir worked perfectly with a floral crown by Victoria Millésime. Natural makeup and soft curls to completed her relaxed, boho look.

Johanna Hehir's Delilah added a touch of vintage glamour to the second look, with an elegant cowl back and fuller skirt which gently moved in the breeze. This look was finished with a side braid to keep the boho feel with flowers weaved through to keep the look modern and fresh. A stunning bouquet created by Jodie from Boutique Blooms, included romantic roses, contemporary dahlias and rustic foliage.

A table styled by Louise at B.Loved was full of creative details. A hanging chandelier of elegant blush and ivory flowers created a focal point over the table, dripping with sparkling crystals fit for a princess, with garlands of ivy adding to the forest feel. A moss runner created a backdrop for a fairy-tale inspired setting with mushrooms, flowers and animals springing from the table!

Votives and antique silver details added romance and glamour. Vintage china was used for the place settings, with moss-filled teacups, and lace details add a pretty touch to the garden chairs. Luxurious letterpressed stationery by Artcadia featured a cute forest animal motif on every element.

A floral arch provided the perfect backdrop for a wonderfully whimsical dessert table. A dripping gold naked cake, decorated with dainty sugar-paste mushrooms designed by Andi Freeman Cakes, was the perfect centrepiece, with pink-iced mounds and pink and gold cake pops, and the prettiest heart-shaped macarons and posh pops from Anges de Sucres adding a French twist.
