This morning is all about glamour, with a wedding filled to the brim with gorgeous pink and antique gold details.

Karen and Adrian married on the 28 ^th September 2013 at Spains Hall, Essex. They were in safe hands with wedding planner Bernadette from Dream Occasions on board to ensure everything ran smoothly. Karen and Adrian's two sons were involved in the day, handing out the order of service and reading during the ceremony. I so love their cute bow tie and gingham outfits too.

Karen looked stunning in a lace Inbal Dror dress, while the bridesmaids were pretty in pink. Oh and there were beautiful David Austin roses.

Hair - I had pretty short hair when Adrian proposed so I grew it as long as I could in the 9 months I had, which meant that I was limited with what I could do and the accessories I could use. So in the end I just went for something simple with pearl beads twisted into the curls at the back.

Jewellery - My necklace and earrings I got from Morgan Davies Bridal, they were a beautiful vintage style set that went well with the dress. My shoes were my something old as I had a gold pair that I loved and could dance all night in.

The recessional was Gonna Fly Now - Bill Conti and the processional was Canon in D.

Beautiful Bridesmaids... Shoes - Kurt Geiger. Dresses - BCBGMAXAZRIA. Flowergirl - Next. Page boy/ young ushers Next and Verbaudet.

Bridesmaids Other Accessories - John Lewis. We went for a very simple antique gold pearl necklace, earing and bracelet set.

Wedding Rings - A jeweller local to us in Hertford made our rings, Adrian had been away on business for most of the 2 months leading up to the wedding, so getting the rings sorted was one of the last things that we did! Literally 2 days before the wedding. They were made for us by Sal at Hert of Gold.

Strawberry & Champagne mini jam from were the favours as the groom is from Tiptree. The brides Mother sourced gold favour boxes and beautiful pink satin ribbon to present them in.

We used Mediterranean Occasions for the beautiful backdrop behind the top table, the crystal chandeliers lining the path and the French glass candlesticks on the table

We hired in the pink damask linen to lift the colour scheme for the wedding. The vintage crockery was hired in from The Crockery Cupboard and they were very accommodating with us requesting primarily the gold and/or pink ranges! The glassware, cutlery and chargers were from Couvert.

The first dance was I'm Kissing You by Des'Ree. It's one of Adrian's favourite songs.

Saying 'I do' because everything else aside, as beautiful as everything else was, actually becoming Adrian's wife was more important than anything else.

Stress less; enjoy more...because when all is said and done the most important thing is actually getting married. Everything else is a bonus and with a fabulous wedding planner (like I had) the bonus will be just perfect
