Today I get to share a bridal shower that is near and dear to my heart! It is filled to the brim with so many Bayside Bride original crafts, recipes, and decor ideas. I'll be walking you through this shower and guiding you to links with DIY instructions that you can use for your own celebrations!

First up is a Bayside Bride original drink! This tasty cordial is easily made into a mocktail with a grapefruit twist called Elderflower Bubbly, or can be transformed into a cocktail by using a sparkling wine and St. Germain's liqueur!

This bright pink pom pom, tucked behind the basket of favors, is now common wedding decor! We love the idea of incorporating it into any festivity - hanging from window valances or tucked somewhere on the gift table. Lifestyle guru, Martha Stewart shares step by step instructions that will allow you to make your own. These little guys are so easy and cheap to make!

And then of course you need to pay some attention to your favors. These tea and honey stick favors were inspired by our own Natalie Franke's bridal shower! All you need are small muslim bags, a stamp, your favorite brew, and honey sticks!

No bridal shower is complete without a game or two. This game comes from our Americana editorial shoot for Baltimore Bride Magazine! The board design was conceptualized by the talented ladies at Little Bit Heart! They even came up with a downloadable version just for you!

And last, but not least, brush up on your confectionary skills by learning how to stack multi-layer cakes.

Born abroad, but raised as a Maryland girl through and through, Rebekah knew that her love for weddings made her a perfect fit for the Bayside Bride team. After interning for the blog in Fall of 2011 she worked hard to finish her degrees in English & Media and Communications at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Graduated and ready to return, she wants nothing more than to pass her love of event planning & weddings onto brides-to-be.
