WWW readers Laura and Stephen chose Treadam Barn, South Wales to host their wedding reception and had a beautifully relaxed atmosphere to their day. They hoped to achieve a wedding in the country with home spun touches. There were the prettiest blooms, bridesmaids in soft grey, a pot plant ladder seating plan and scrumptious food.

Stephen looked so very dapper in tweed, braces and bowler hat, while Laura donned a gorgeous circlet of fresh gypsophilia. Love love love.

Thanks so much to the wonderful Nick Murray Photography for sharing his imagery with us today.

The Proposal... 21 st April 2012, down on one knee after a gorgeous day in the sunshine with friends!

The Venue... Our Ceremony was at Ty-Isaf Baptist Church in Risca, where Steve's dad is the minister and where we worship when we are visiting family in Wales, making it so special. The reception was at Treadam Barn, Abergavenny- a stunning, restored 15 th century barn in the middle of the countryside.

Groom's Attire... Steve knew he didn't want a typical wedding suit, and after only a short search, we stumbled across a gorgeous brown tweed suit from Wolsey which was what he had pictured! He accessorised with a bowler hat from a hat makers in Soho, vintage braces and tan brogue boots.

Our Hymns were: Amazing Grace and How deep the Father's love for us, which was accompanied by acoustic guitar played by our good friend Luke.

Our readings were: Luke 12:12-34 and Philippians 4:8-9

Sugarloaf Catering created a two-part menu for our wedding day, starting with an English-Welsh high-tea with champagne when we arrived at the barn and then a sumptuous hog roast in the courtyard in the evening sunset.

I gave the ladies Welsh love spoons as favours! I loved the fact it was a traditional Welsh token of love and friendship. For men we had an open whiskey and cigar bar although I think there were a number of ladies visiting that it too!

The Honeymoon... We had a mini moon in Tenby- the weather was so good the week after the wedding, we were even sunbathing on the beach! We will go on safari in Kenya one day as a belated 'proper' honeymoon- perhaps for our 2 nd anniversary!
