For wine lovers Ciara and Jordan, there was no better wedding venue than Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, a stunning property overlooking The Okanagan Valley. The couple tied the knot in Tinhorn Creek's outdoor amphitheatre. Afterwards, sparkling wine, lemonade and canapes were served and guests were treated to lawn games and wine tastings while the bridal party took photos. The couple also provided sunglasses, sunscreen, fans and flip-flops so that guests could enjoy the warm August weather in comfort.

Ciara and Jordan's reception was held indoors at Miradoro Restaurant, which was decorated in mint and lemon hues. "We loved the soft look of mints and yellows, and thought they would complement the desert climate," explains Ciara. "The restaurant at Tinhorn Creek truly is a blank slate with floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed wood beams and cork flooring. We didn't want to overtake the natural beauty of the venue and wanted our guests to enjoy the view." Lemons tied with twine served as escort cards adorning each place setting while cheerful arrangements of yellow blooms served as centrepieces. The groom fashioned a cake stand using old wine corks found in Ciara's grandmother's basement, which Ciara says was one of her favourite wedding details.

In terms of the best moment of the day, the couple says they just can't choose one. "The entire day went so well," says Ciara. "Walking down the aisle, the heartfelt personalized vows and seeing our guests having so much fun were moments we will always remember, but it was all these moments combined with so many others that made the day so special."
