"Our wedding day can be summed up in two words: Bollywood Glam. We wanted the wedding to be reflective of our backgrounds; my family is Pakistani and Aly's family is from Tanzania and India. From the vibrant theme colours to the family style table service and party favours, we tried to incorporate as many elements of our rich South Asian heritage as possible," Summer explains.
The bright fuchsia's, turquoise's, and royal blue's paired perfectly with warm gold, giving this wedding a welcoming and romantic feeling that reflects the couple's cultural heritage. The evening was full of dancing and indulging in desserts. The pair's first dance turned into a flash mob of close to 50 people which was followed by some sweet treats from a custom ice cream parlour, the perfect cap to the summer.
