Beautiful beginnings like this only makes me want to be the fly in the wall. Liza's contagious smile and good humor is one key attribute I love in her as the MWN's bride. We are truly happy they found eachother. The meet up story is such an interesting one. Her gown is simply breathtaking and the pictures captured all the unforgettable and happy memories by Akintayotimi photography.

I hope you do get inspired as we have. Thank you Liza and Chifum for making us part of your wonderful beginning. Happy Marriage Life! xx

From Liza I was leaving work for home during my NYSC to meet up with my mum. While walking, I noticed a car slow down beside me on the busy road. I looked to my side and I saw the person driving. He smiled at me and I smiled back. Don't know why I did but I did. I kept walking and didn't think much of what just happened, only to be approached by someone after making a blind bend. Interestingly, the guy I smiled at had parked his car and was waiting for me. All these were happening on a very busy road. He walked up to me and the first words he said were "do you know how much guts it took me to do this". I laughed but was mostly surprised at what was happening. He asked to drop me off but I told him my mum was nearby and she was waiting for me. This also meant I couldn't stay. He asked me another question and I simply told him he can have my number and ask me whatever question he had. So he called and we spoke for a long time and didn't stop speaking. Many months later, I had to travel for my Master's degree. The whole "long-distance relationship" thing was new to both of us but he always never stopped calling or keeping in touch. I was surprised he booked a ticket for me to come home the following year to spend a month. A few days to the end of my "holiday", I noticed he started acting weird and distant. I was worried because the switch was instant. A day before I left, he came to pick me up from home (by this time I was already prepared for the "breakup" speech). he drove to a restaurant because he said he was hungry and needed to eat something (by this time I was seething and ready to boil over cuz I'm like "what kind of guy wants to break up with u and would rather eat first before doing it" but I kept quiet). Anyway, we got there, his brother was there also waiting (by this time I was confused) and they ordered something to eat and asked me to but OBVIOUSLY I refused and was just waiting for the dude to take me back home. I remember being soooo mad that whenever he spoke to me or asked me anything I'd just snap back. He said he was going to the restroom so I tried asking his brother what was going on. He didn't answer me. He returned, and sat by my side this time, then I recall a small box being passed to him by his brother, him getting on one knee, people 'aww-ing and ahh-ing' in the restaurant, me not hearing a word he was saying, cuz I started weeping, yes.... weeping. Some woman had to say "ahn ahn....answer him" cuz he was still kneeling. And of course I said yes. Its 2 years now since he proposed and I'm married to this amazing amazing man
