A farm wedding always seems a little far-fetched and sounds like a lot of work, but Bronwyn created a wonderland out of her family's farm outside of Nylstroom and it looked incredible. We met each other in High School however after a short period of courtship
Dylan and his family emigrated to Australia. Despite the big move we kept
in contact for a period of approximately 5 years whereupon Dylan purchased a plane ticket for my 21st birthday to Australia. To put it in a nutshell ... The rest is history!

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down.

We were on our family farm (Where we were to be married some 12
months later) and during the course of the late afternoon Dylan setup
while the rest of the family were busy with other activities elsewhere. Once the sun had gone down Dylan came to fetch me to go 'make dinner' But upon arrival there were two trees beautifully decorated with little lanterns (handmade), a fire going, champagne and snacks. A slightly flustered Dylan stood looking at me for a few seconds before promptly going down on one knee and popping the question, which the answer there too was naturally a 'yes'!

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day.

Many couples may say the ceremony, speeches or first dance, but we feel that we had the privilege of sharing each moment with a group of very special guests who no matter how young or old, strangers, acquaintances, friends or family, all came together and danced and chatted the night a way. There was not a single guest who didn't participate on the dance floor,'the train' and the dance off - young and old danced together until their feet couldn't anymore! We had such fun at our own wedding and were somewhat disappointed when it ended in the early hours of the morning!
