Rudolf & Ezanne recently had their wedding at the Cowshed just outside of Lydenburg, a beautiful setting that is ideal for a wedding. I Propose | Elaborate on how the two of you met.

Rudolf and I have been good friends for many years. We went on many adventures together but somehow we never realised what a good match we were. Until one evening over a sushi dinner we were talking about relationships and our love lives - or the lack there of! Then the conversation moved into a direction where we both agreed that we would actually make a good couple. And then out of the blue, Rudolf asked if I would be his girlfriend... and I said "YES" (for the 1st time) and then he kissed me....And the rest is history!

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down.

We were on the Zambezi river in the Caprivi flood planes between Zambia, Namibia and Botswana. And Rudolf caught the biggest fish of his life!

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day.

A very emotional and excited Rudolf could not wait for me to walk down the isle. He came to fetch me. He lifted my veil, kissed me, shook my fathers hand and we walked together to start our new life in marriage.

After weeks of rain in March, the sky opened and the day turned out magical with all our family and friends sharing in this happiest and blessed day with us.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides.

Juggling a busy work schedule and planning a wedding is very overwhelming, I therefore tried to keep it as simple as possible. My wedding was paperless and décor was kept to a minimum. Our families and friends helped out where necessary. Working with a time line before the big day was a big help. And do not worry all the hair loss before the wedding, immediately stops when the big day is over.
