Anneke and Gideon, both South African doctors, met during their community service year in Kimberley. Gideon proposed on a private game reserve outside Barkley West at a candle light dinner in the middle of the bush and the pair decided to tie the knot at the beautiful Nooitgedacht wine estate. Anneke wore a delicate lace wedding dress made by Didi couture, with a vibrant bouquet of radiant flowers including pink tulips, yellow roses and Queen Anne's lace. The bridesmaids wore dusty pink dresses by Jacoba clothing, with the groom and groomsmen dressed in Trenery suits. Despite the rain, Leipzig Weddings transformed the reception venue into a whimsical countryside wonderland filled with suspended blooms in glass bottles alongside mix and match vintage jars. The long, family style tables were filled with floral country inspired arrangements including hydrangea, tulips, roses and even vegetables! Wade's Cakes continued the country-style theme by topping a fashionably naked cake with fresh roses in creams, pinks and blush. As a gift for each guest, the pair arranged handmade parcels of toffee, fudge and nougat specially crafted by Roses Handmade. Their bright and colourful country-style celebration was beautifully captured by Nikki Meyer .
