We love natural light, English Garden weddings and most of all, delicate blooms all captured on film. So we struck lucky today with Mami & Joe's real wedding from Belle & Beau Fine Art Wedding Photography! From the Vivienne Westwood shoes to the blush pink short bridesmaids dresses. The pastel florals from Miss Pickering to the Stephanie Allin gown. We love it all...

From the bride, Mami: " We only had six months from our engagement to our wedding day. We were busy with other wedding related tasks and by the time I started looking for my dress it was December and it seemed like a rush to pick 'the one' if I wanted it to be ready in time. After trying on numerous dresses I was stuck between two dresses but something in me just couldn't make that final decision. So I had one final search (on the internet) and came across Stephanie Allin's beautiful collection. I was immediately drawn to Twilight dress so I made an appointment (on the new year's eve!) and I knew it was "the one" when I tried it on. I loved the lace details, how the bodice hugged and supported my body and fell in love with the volume and the soft flowy movement the natural organza skirt gave. Her dresses are made in Britain which made the dress extra special."

"I didn't go for the traditional bridal shoes. They are grey flock skyscrapers by 'Vivienne Westwood + Melissa Shoes'. I bought them a few years ago and wore them on a number of occasions. They look and feel fabulous. They are the most comfortable shoes and they still look like they are new and they went well with the dress, the venue and the style of wedding we wanted in the early Spring season so I decided to go with them!" "I didn't want to go for the traditional bridesmaids dresses because I wanted my bridesmaids to be able to wear the dresses again for any other occasions and made sure they were happy with their dresses. So we went for a high street label option. A knee length flowy dress with soft / pastel pink colour to go with the overall colour palette." "Joe wore charcoal grey three-piece suit from Ted Baker, pink/silvery tie from Kenzo, pale green with subtle floral print pocket square from Mrs Bow Tie and a pair of black leather brogues from Peter Werth. We went shopping together for his outfit but I didn't get to see the complete look with the suit fully tailored until the big day. It was lovely to see him looking so smart." "I wanted to find a make-up artist who has experience with oriental complexion as I heard many horror stories about Japanese ladies getting their makeup done overseas usually end up looking like the artist's interpretation of Japan... like Geisha with bright red lips etc.! I was lucky to find a very talented Japanese makeup artist Yukari Wilson"I was clueless about flowers so when I started looking for a florist I learnt that each and every florist has their own style but I knew exactly the kind of style I wanted to have for our wedding so when I came across Miss Pickering we knew straight away that she was the florist we were looking for! Me and Joe are fans of Kinfolk (lifestyle magazine) and we wanted the flower arrangements to reflect the Kinfolk-y style. "We wanted our special moments to be captured in the most natural way. Visually, we were looking for a photographer who made use of natural light, who can create soft, romantic and stylish imagery. We are both creatives and into photography so I think we were quite fussy when it came to choosing our photographer! Having seen her beautiful portfolio on her website we knew Holly from Belle and Beau Fine Art Photography was the perfect one for us but also the way she described her style and approach to photography made us even more confident that she was who we were looking for!" "We wanted our cake to look sophisticated and not over the top. We ordered a two tier soft iced vanilla sponge cake from Waitrose online! We chose the simplest cake and topped with fresh flowers (arranged by Miss Pickering). Simple is the best!" "I wanted romantic, soft/dreamy in a traditional English setting. The venue itself offered such a gorgeous setting and the décor was just the style I wanted. We placed tea lights & candles on the reception tables and filled the backdrop wall on the entertainment space with curtains of fairy lights. Also we created a candle lit path with pillar candles in lanterns.Taking advantage of our creative skills, we designed all the wedding stationery ourselves." Vendor details We wanted lots of texture and the overall colour scheme to be blush pink, soft cream & yellow with a touch of green. We chose ranunculus, peonies, tulips, roses to name a few but to give the textures we wanted Miss Pickering did such an amazing job to mix them with many other flowers and foliage!" . We discussed the natural / soft look I wanted and she delivered it perfectly. I was really happy with the result and the make up stayed throughout the day / night I didn't have to re-apply anything at all! Amazing! She also recommended a Japanese hair salon Baroque Hair & Nails. I decided to go for a slightly lose up-do with wavy texture with a couple of branched pearl hairpins and a headband."
