Sara and Chip went to high school together and then Penn State. They would share rides to the shore and back to school. They always remained friends through the years and shared a few kisses along the way. After college, Sara went to law school and Chip went to NYC to start his career. It wasn't until Sara was visiting her sister in New York, who was studying at NYU at the time, that Chip and Sara literally ran into one another at a Penn State bar to watch the Nittany Lions play. After that, they spent almost every weekend visiting one another in Philadelphia or NYC. Long distance relationships can be difficult but it seemed easy for them and looking back, turned out to be one of the best years of their lives. They had a love affair in two cities. After a year and a half of dating, Chip moved to Philadelphia to be with Sara. Eight months later, they went on vacation with Sara's family in the Florida Keys. It was there that Chip proposed by the waterfront. Chip and Sara wanted to be married in Philadelphia and share one of the cities they love with their family and friends. They were married on June 28, 2014 by their family friend, Father Dave, at Saint John the Evangelist Church. The ceremony was followed by an evening reception at the Downtown Club overlooking Independence Hall in Philadelphia. The couple then honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico for nine relaxing days. They just bought a house in Philadelphia and are looking forward to settling in.
