Home is where the heart is

I LOVE at home engagement shoots, there's nothing more personal, cosy and romantic. Larissa and John met when she moved into his house as a student, so home really is where the heart is for these two! John and I met 5 years ago when I moved into his house which he shared with university friends. Since the first day we got together we've been really happy and inseparable. We absolutely love travelling, and so have spent a lot of our years either travelling, or daydreaming on what our next destination should be. John and I love a bit of everything - adventurous holidays, doing country or urban walks, gathering friends or just a simple as trying a new breakfast recipe - these are a few simple pleasures that makes us happy. We have been together for four and a half years and live together with our second-hand cat Pickles. 
John proposed in a vineyard outside Florence last July, we rented a little vintage Fiat 500 and cruised around all afternoon. At our last stop during sunset he went down on one knee and made a little speech. It was very emotional. From there we just stayed in wonderful places, ate wonderful food and smiled for the next 4 days of our trip! 
We wanted to do the engagement shoot in our home, to have our day to day lives recorded. That is where we spend most of our time together and we really love it there! Our photographer Anna suggested she shoot us while making breakfast, so we went all the way and even wore our pyjamas! We're so happy to have captured the little moments that we experience every day, and these photos will always be a reminder of our first home together.
