Luminaries can be inspiring, they are a perfect static point to concentrate on during meditation or they can just make an untypical frame for Glowing Photos. I adore the dimmed light they give.

But luminaries are also nice elements of festivals such as Christmas or Halloween. I know these two are now a bit remote in time, but advance ideas bank is not a bad thing. Amanda, who runs her Craft blog, came up with Halloween Painted Jar Luminaries. The project is not too complicated. Painting the jars and making them look like pumpkins can be great fun. So when the time comes, I'll make this funny decoration.
