Golden Bridal Accessories

Don't get me wrong, silver is beautiful, but there is just something special about golden accessories. Especially against a white dress, gold gives off a warm glow. We've rounded up some of our favorite pieces of golden jewelry to complete your bridal look.

Above, these gorgeous maple leaf bobby pins would be perfect for an autumnal wedding. And bobby pins are a good option for brides that want to skip a veil and wear their hair down. Delicate crowns are another way to "dress up" your long waves. This crown (below) features blush-colored crystals woven in between the gold wires.

If you wanted something more traditional, opt for a hair comb like the one above. Its rich crystals lend an air of formality and you can wear it with either your hair down or to accent a smart updo.

More modern brides can incorporate a sense of whimsy into their accessories. These golden arrows (below) are cute and playful, and would most certainly be worn for many a date night after the wedding.

Speaking of future uses, it's wise to pick earrings and necklaces that you love enough to wear again. Don't pick something just because it goes with the dress. Find accessories that speak to you and that will be well worth the money you spend on them. These lovely gold leaf and crystal dangles (below) would go well with that LBD your honey loves so much.

If your style is less traditional and delicate, try a pair of quality hoops (above, left) or chandelier earrings (above right). Although chandelier earrings work best for nights out, a great pair of hoops (especially ones as interesting as this leaf pair) can be re-worn with anything from a cashmere sweater to a beachy sundress. The leaf chandelier earrings would look lovely with a Grecian-style wedding gown.

A bit of a minimalist? A wedding is no reason to change your style. If you prefer a less-is-more approach to your accessories, find bridal jewelry that reflects your aesthetic. These "love" studs are modern, but sweet. And they are so tiny, they won't look at all "gimmicky" in the photos-just a bit of sparkle.

If you are wearing a slinky column dress, pair it with delicate, minimal jewelry. If the dress features a deep v, a lariat necklace (below, left) is a chic choice. Paired with an equally reserved link bracelet (below, right) your look will be refined and sophisticated.

Here are some more golden necklaces that we think would look pretty magical with your wedding dress:
