The aim of this styled shoot was to create an intimate atmosphere for an elopement or boutique-style wedding, according to photographers Erin Bowley and Andrew Gilbert. "We also wanted to create décor and a tablescape that any bride could feasibly put together herself with farmers' market finds and heirloom pieces," says Bowley.

"We paired rustic, reclaimed and refinished vintage furniture with a silver tea service passed down from the designer's grandmother and mismatched floral chinaware we found at a local antique market," Bowley explains.

In place of the full wedding spread, Bowley and Gilbert opted for an understated display of colourful fruits, cheeses and charcuterie. The wedding gowns featured here also had a decidedly boheminan feel and were perfectly paired with a selection of gorgeous ivory, pink and purple blooms.
