With more and more couples entertaining the idea of marrying abroad in the sun, we love to see more inspiration for these sun seeking brides and grooms. To La Lune Events and film photographer Diana McGregor Photography have the perfect destination wedding ideas and style full of tropical and Spanish elements, bright florals and ikat details...

From To La Lune Events: "Diana McGregor & I had the pleasure of collaborating on a really lovely styled shoot that we thought you may be interested in! This Summer Abroad inspired shoot was held at Rancho Valencia in Rancho Santa Fe & we couldn't be more thrilled with how the images turned out. Some of our most favorite details include the handcrafted beaded chandelier we built, the exotic birds....and of course the florals from L&S Design Co. & the paper elements from Peanut Press Creative were just too good to be true! Imagine a bride who just returned from a trip around the world. She is effortlessly refreshed, relaxed, & has a sweet spot for all things bright, textured, & unique...paired with that perfect exotic touch, of course! This vibrant vision inspired us to create this gorgeous shoot, and we fell in love with the idea of incorporating all of these elements into her big day. As a gift to her guests, we visually transported them to the look & feel of a far away land, right in a heart of San Diego county."

Rancho Valencia, a Mediterranean inspired Resort & Spa tucked away in Rancho Santa Fe, set the stage as the perfect backdrop with its luscious landscape & charming architectural elements. As guests arrive at the property they are greeted by 45 acres of stunning gardens & unique details. Amazing tile work, oversized pottery vases, & fountains can be found speckled throughout the property, greeting guests with the feeling as though they have just been whisked away to the other side of the world. This shoot was filled with so many special details, from the amazing handcrafted wooden bead chandelier created by To La Lune, to the fun & funky pattern play invitation suite & paper elements by Cassie Salcido of Peanut Press Creative. And who can forget the amazing birds which provided the perfect exotic touch! Our effortlessly gorgeous bride wore two incredible gowns from The Dress Theory. She started the day in the most beautiful beaded v-backed by Theia. Her bright & beautiful bouquet crafted by L&S Design Co. popped stunningly against it. Post ceremony she changed into a 2015 Jenny Packham which was adorned with lovely jewels. Hey There Cupcake whipped up two insanely perfect cakes which tied everything together. We showcased these beauties on peacock chair pedestals that were dolled up with florals. All of the lush tropical untamed florals by L&S Design Co. were chock full of bright & cheery blooms mixed with unique greenery, pomegranates, & persimmons. We absolutely loved the touch of kangaroo paw! Vendor details
