Good morning lovely readers. I hope you're loving our new look as much as I do?! If you missed our big launch yesterday you can read all about the changes over in my welcome post - I talk you through all the new pretty as well as some very exciting news about our new content (yes we're now covering everything you stylish lovelies need beyond your big day too!) plus lots of swanky new features!

As our very first inspiration feature, I wanted to share something that really suits our new 'luxe & lovely' look. So this morning I'm so thrilled to share a most beautiful inspiration shoot. When film photographer Charlie from CKB Photography approached me wanting to collaborate, I immediately knew I had to create something utterly beautiful and luxurious, and totally worthy of being shot on film. Together we worked on a concept that would make the very most of film photography, playing on imperfection, organic textures and 'undone' details, beautiful yet not conventionally pretty. It combines beautiful bridal styling with the feel of an editorial lifestyle shoot, set in the interior of The Roost, an abandoned London pub with exposed brick walls and quirky wallpaper, grand fireplaces and cosy nooks.

We follow the story of our bride as she prepares for her wedding day, enjoying a leisurely breakfast, reminiscing over old love letters and beginning her transformation from girl to bride. She dresses in lingerie from Shelle Belle Couture before slipping into her wedding dresses by Sarah Janks and Delphine Manivet. The stationery is written in pencil calligraphy on linen paper with torn edges, representing one single moment in time. The organic florals created by Jay Archer create a relaxed elegance that creates the effect of having been lovingly curated using much loved antiques from her family home and decorated with freshly picked flowers.
