Barbara and Hansi travelled from their home country of Austria to marry in the beautifully scenic Lake Maggiore area of Italy. They chose Lake Maggiore for their special day as Barbara used to come here on vacation when she was a child and ever since has cherished wonderful memories of the place. The couple chose Purewhite Photography to capture their day, and couldn't be happier with the images they produced..

Barbara and Hansi wanted a Catholic ceremony, and after some research opted for the Church of Sacro Monte di Ghiffa, located not far from Verbania village on a beautiful hilltop. For the church flowers Barbara chose green and white hydrangeas, and for her bouquet she had an original mix of romantic and country elements: sea holly (Eringium), roses, rosmarinum and lotus fruits. After the aperitif the couple brought their guests on a scenic lake boat trip, serving different drinks onboard to make the trip more entertaining. After a little break to refresh and change for the reception, everybody re-joined the party at the welcome aperitif served on the large lawn of the Villa Muggia in the elegant town of Stresa. After the aperitif the guests headed inside the villa for the wedding dinner.

Since Barbara is a graphic designer, she created her own wedding stationary, with grey handmade paper for the table plan and table numbers, natural organic paper for names cards and bunting. There were also pretty cotton ribbons for napkins and cotton bags for the wedding favors. For the wedding party the villa was decorated with lovely architectural lighting- dancing lights indoors and romantic fairy lights outdoors made the atmosphere incredibly romantic.
