Taking inspiration from the great outdoors; Kelly Brown Photographer and Rock Paper Square got together to create this shoot with real couple Jon and Shell. I adore the cosy blankets, rustic attire and woodland setting. Dreamy.

"Always ready for an adventure, Kelly Brown Photographer and Rock Paper Square teamed up to create this fun outdoor, camping shoot inspired by the beauty of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. They took real life (and in love!) couple, Jon and Shell, out to the remote Sidney Spit Island for a day of hiking, picnicking, music making and camping. The whole island was theirs for the day, to get lost in love and explore the beauty of nature and each other."

"Jon had his eye on Shell from the first time she served him delicious pints at a neighbourhood pub in Calgary, Alberta. At the time she was in another relationship. However they exchanged pleasantries and Jon shared his love of music and dropped hints on the details of his next gig. Long story short.... Shell showed up to Jon's gig (newly single) and the rest as they say is history. They now live in Victoria British Columbia with their beloved German Shephard, Virginia and cat, Dewy where they love to garden, entertain family and friends on their back "zen den" and explore all of the beauty that Vancouver Island has to offer."
