Holiday Favors for Winter Weddings

Holiday Favors for Winter Weddings

via

If your wedding date falls squarely during the holiday season, embrace the spirit and give favors that reflect your favorite wintry details. Whether you want something that represents a specific holiday, or just the fun of a cold-weather season, we've got a ton of festive favors for you!

This snowflake ornament (above) will remind your guests of your wedding every year as they decorate their Christmas trees. Below, this golden bell ornament multitasks as a delightful way to send off your favorite couple to melodic rings as they exit their wedding.

I'm not sure which I like more-the soft gray gloves guaranteed to keep hands toasty, or the sweet tag affixed with twine. Either way, both will charm your friends and family!

If you want your favors to serve more of a purpose throughout your reception than just sitting in a box by the door, use products that will add to the general decor. For example, pine tree place cards (above, left) or shimmering candle votives will make each place setting stand out at your tables. Or you can fill bowls with potpourri around your venue and set muslin mags nearby. Put out a sign that lets guests know to take a bag home. It will make your reception smell amazing, and will fill your guests' home with memories of the fun they had.

Hosting a bridal shower and looking for a winter-appropriate favor? Stash homemade body butter in handy mint tins (below). Your gal pals will greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness when their hands need a little extra moisture.

Of course, for many guests, the best favors are the tasty ones. These sugar cookie lollipops (above) subtly herald the best bounty of the holiday season. Below, Italian wedding cookies make a gorgeous (and delicious) wedding favor piled high in white gift boxes.

All the better to savor something yummy that also warms you up when the temperatures drop. Your guests can enjoy gourmet flavors of hot cocoa when they return to their hotels (above). Or perhaps coffee is more your style, so pass out brown paper-wrapped bags of your favorite beans. Simply decorate with a festive stamp and twine, and you have an easy DIY favor!

This November, we are celebrating gratitude with Artifact Uprising during Giving Thanks month!
