This afternoon we're sharing with you one of the Editorial features from our recently published magazine - which if you missed it you can see in full here.

With 'Simplicity' we wanted to peel back all of the layers of unnecessary detail and make it all about the girl and the dress. And of course the flowers - because flowers are never unnecessary.

Sticking to a palette of whites and greens, keeping make up at a minimum and with no sparkly jewels, this really is all about letting your natural beauty shine through and proves that sometimes, less really is more.

The Dresses

We opted for two types of gown - an elegant, flowing Grecian style to continue the simple, demure look. The Ava by Naomi Neoh and this simple gown from Johanna Hehir were perfect.

The second type of gown was chosen to let the dress do the talking, bigger, lacier and more of a statement - Lily Mae and Lucy Lou by Charlotte Balbier were the ideal gowns.

The Flowers

The very talented Emily Wisher created the blooms on display here. If you want to create something similar, you're looking for asparagus fern, white rose campanula, astilbe, seasonal foliage and of course - big and blousey white hydrangeas.

The Decor

Hoops aren't just for hula hooping don't you know...

Wrapped in ribbon, covered with blooms and foliage - and there you have it - a simple way to create a gorgeous decorative feature. Perfect for portrait shots and for a stunning table plan.

This is so simple to recreate - all you need is the cardboard cut outs of the names and table numbers, some ribbon and either glue, mini pegs or thread to attach it all together.

The Make Up

Make up was also kept minimal - pink lips, a cat flick eye and lashings of mascara. You can find full details of which three products the lovely Jodie Hazlewood used in the magazine.

Your Wedding

Are any of you opting for a white colour scheme for your big day? Have you decided to keep fuss to an absolute minimum?

Will you be recreating the epic hula hoop table plan?

If you want to see any more images from this shoot, do have a look at the RMW magazine where you can see lots of other ideas for a white colour scheme. (And even more exclusive editorial).
