Farid and Vanessa, from Singapore, sought an experience for their wedding that would be both unique and truly memorable. They wanted to elope somewhere really different and found their perfect destination in Iceland. Most of us know about the incredible scenery in Iceland, but have you ever seen Icelandic horses? I had't so I was fascinated to see them here. And just wait until you see the beautiful church the couple married in! Farid and Vanessa's photographer Ann was along to capture the moments as they exchanged vows and went on an incredible photo journey, and she talks more about their trip below.

"Farid and Vanessa's Icelandic experience was the thrill of a lifetime. They tied the knot at a 150 year old small red seaside church and afterwards we journeyed to find sod-covered houses, beautiful mountains and volcanoes, glaciers, Icelandic horses, lots of snow and lava fields, to include just some of what we saw along the way. This super sweet couple had an intimate adventure-filled elopement that they will remember forever: we devised an action-packed Iceland winter wedding adventure for the two of them and I went along to tell their story. Activities we covered included: dog sledding, glacier hiking, waterfall hunting, touring Reykjavik, the Golden Circle and of course visiting Thingvellir National Park for their wedding day. The weather was a lot colder than the couple were used to but they had the time of their lives!"
