DECK THE TABLE

Add another level of special to the occasion by going all out with the table setting which will make any meal all the more exceptional. Create an interesting centrepiece by running lush greenery along the table and embellishing with fruit, flowers and candles. To make it even more festive, add extra tree decorations to your centrepiece or lay a bauble, bon bon or candy cane on each plate.

Christmas in Australia is all about laid back summer gatherings. The light and airy decor of the table setting above (featured in our latest DIY Magazine) perfectly embodies that. Australia's native fauna is celebrated in the beautiful centrepiece and is also used to inspire the rest of the decor. Gum leaf cookies and gum leaf place cards adorn the settings and the washed out red of the flowers is picked up in the napery. It's the picture of casual cheer, just like an Australian Christmas!
