Runway Trend: How to Do a "Twiggy" Style Eye

The Sixties' Twiggy-style eye is all the rage right now. It's a super fun look to do - not to mention easy! You'll just need a couple of tools, and this flirty, retro look will be yours to flaunt.

Draw a Cat Eye

Use a waterproof, liquid eyeliner to draw a cat eye. Line both the top and bottom lids. You'll want to draw your line on the thick side, applying enough makeup so a bold line shows when your eyes are open.

Use Two Sets of False Eyelashes

Get two pairs of Sixties-style falsies, and stack one on top of the other, literally doubling up your false lashes. Cut to size and apply. If you want to go the extra mile, get a pair of bottom lashes and add those as well, though one set is plenty for the bottom.

Bond Lashes Together

Apply a good, lengthening mascara, such as Maybelline Define-A-Lash Lengthening Washable Mascara, bonding your lashes to the applied falsies. Be extra careful on the lashes with your wand. You want to make sure you get all three layers of lashes evenly coated so they stick together.
