Playful Texas Ranch Wedding: Caroline + Jake

Caroline + Jake tied the knot at Caroline's dad's amazing ranch in a beautiful tree-covered corner of Texas. What makes this property extra unique is the incredible story behind it. Her dad had found an old church building, moved it to this property right on the water, renovated it, and added on to the original structure to make it into his home. Needless to say, it made for a super unique, spectacular backdrop for C + J's sweet and playful wedding celebration.

Since almost everyone invited was coming in from out of town, Caroline + Jake worked with Jennifer Laura Design to find some really fun ways of 'slapping their guests in the face with Texas' every chance they got...in a good way of course! There was delicious Texas BBQ, a fun local band, and even a Longhorn photo booth! Told you this one was Texas-inspired and we're loving every minute of it! So glad the talented duo Love Is A Big Deal was there to beautifully capture it all.

Caroline carried a gorgeous crimson dahlia-filled bouquet by without wax katy.

These two are looking pret-ty great if you ask us! Caroline is decked out in Oscar de la Renta (but wait 'til you see how cute she looks in her Sarah Seven reception frock, too!) And Jake is wearing a custom tux by Klein, Epstein & Parker.

Jennifer Laura Design explains the look they were going for with the tablescapes, We did a garland on the head table and organic centerpieces on all of the other tables- we also mixed in rustic metal punched lanterns, red candles, and hexagonal beeswax taper candles. Place settings were adorned with a fern leaf, a bit of oxblood red ribbon, and a hand lettered place card by Ladyfingers Letterpress.
