For the Love of Oregon
Both our ceremony and reception were held at Callahan's Mountain Lodge at the base of Mount Ashland in Oregon. Prior to the summer of the wedding, we had only seen Callahan's in the winter when it was surrounded by snow, so we were amazed to see its beauty in the summer. My husband and I currently live in Hawaii, but we miss Oregon every day. Callahan's Lodge, the mountains' cool evening breeze and the seemingly never-ending forest surrounding it captured exactly what we love about Oregon.
A Magical Night
Once the sun set and the sky grew dimmer, the magic truly began. The lighting was like glitter dusting the reception. There was a moment that I stopped to take everything in, and saw every face smiling, felt every heart so full of love, and realized I was experiencing the most magical evening of my life.
