You might recall, we shared a super sweet winter anniversary session in the city last week and today we're sharing one that's equally beautiful, set in the stunning setting of Big Cottonwood Canyon in Utah! Marisa + Jake have been married for a year and decided to celebrate by getting some fun portraits taken by the talented Jadie Jo Photography. Marisa wore her Nephi Garcia wedding dress again, but decided to have the designer chop it short to make it a bit different and a little edgy! Great idea if it works with your dress, right?! They trekked out into the snow at sunrise, so it was freezing to say the least, but you'd never know it in these ultra adorable captures. Let's take a peek at their fun, snowy session...

These guys made their own bouquet the morning of the shoot with some flowers they just picked up at a store and a piece of burlap ribbon.

We LOVE Marisa's dress! Now that it's shorter, we can see her wearing it all the time. And Jake looked pretty dapper himself, decked out in Gap, Target, H&M + Mens Warehouse!

These cuties share their advice to couples out there getting ready to tie the knot, The biggest piece of advice we can give you is to not take yourselves too seriously. Not only can laughter diffuse tension or tiffs, but it can also be the root cause of some of your favorite memories. Keep laughing and you'll have decades and decades full of joy together.
