Elegant Romantic Paris Elopement

Elegant Romantic Paris Elopement

There's nothing more romantic in the world than escaping to the other side of the world with your loved one to the most romantic city in the world to be married. Today's couple chose the city of Paris as their wedding venue and kept it simple and elegant. A timeless bouquet wrapped in Silk & Willow, two stunning gowns from Enzoani and The Reformation and delicate adornments from Twigs and Honey. With a cute braided hairstyle from Allison Depriestre, this whole wedding was so classic. The classic Paris architecture stole nothing from this couple and their love for each other. Film photographer Laura Gordon Photography captured it all beautifully...

From Laura Gordon Photography: "Who ever decided you had to have an elaborate wedding with oodles of guests, a big reception, and a bunch of fancy details? Some of my most favorite moments to photograph throughout a wedding day are some of the simplest and most intimate. My time with the bride & groom is so important and often times I hear from a couple how that moment together, was the only moment during their day they were together... alone. It seems it's easy to get caught up in all of the planning and making sure your guests have an enjoyable experience.

Last spring I received the sweetest email from a darling couple living in Hong Kong who planned to elope in the fall in Paris, France. We emailed back and forth several times and before you knew it, there I was, in Paris with this incredible couple who is just as amazing as their intimate Parisian elopement. It was a surreal experience for me. Myself, my assistant, and the pastor marrying the couple were the only guests in attendance. It was emotional, and incredibly touching to witness. After their intimate ceremony, that took place in the American Church of Paris, the bride made a quick wardrobe change. We toured the city making several stops around Paris for their portraits before the couple headed off to a private dinner set up just for the two of them. Does it even get more romantic than that? Every detail of their day was exceptional and I just adore everything about this couple and their beautiful wedding. What a joy it was for me to be a part of their romantic story." Vendor details
