Today's wedding inspiration proves (big time) how creative this industry of ours can be! Would you ever think something incorporating athletic details (and the term March Madness!) could be as pretty as that snap above? We didn't either, but when Ashton Events + Markit Photography sent their stunning work our way, our minds were forever changed + we were definitely impressed!

Laura from Ashton Events tells us, The inspiration behind this shoot came from exploring Pinterest for one of my clients who is an all-american tomboy to get her storyboard started. There was nothing out there! As a fellow tomboy, I wanted to create a shoot based on chic and feminine approach to infusing athletic elements into someone's wedding day!

One girlie element to balance out the tomboy deets? A fab dress by Olivia Gray!

We're so loving that basketball hoop set-up! Totally genius!

The bracketology seating chart + paper goods (by Eleven-Note) couldn't have been a more perfect fit!

And the cake + treats, by Hands on Sweets, were displayed beautifully on stadium-seating benches from A Chair Affair.
