From a bohemian Chuppa on the beach to a modern urban wedding

When you envision your wedding location, do you imagine walking barefoot towards your loved one who is waiting for you under a canopy of starts on the shoreline? Or do you in fact dream of hearing the metropolitan noise in the background while you walk in trendy heels? As small as this country may be, it offers an abundance of different locations with different characteristics where you can tie the knot. There's the urban place in the heart of Tel Aviv that offers a stylish atmosphere with modern decor, while just a short drive away you can check out a rural location which offers a rustic design. If you are a "can't live without the beach" kind of girl, then you can always choose to get married by the sea during a romantic sunset, or in a secluded spot in the desert between the dunes and the Pacific. Whether you're an urban chick or a country gal', either way, it won't be a long drive to find out.

Out of this world locations

Our country is a treasure of nature and landscapes. It's beautiful and unique, and there are so many different stunning locations where you can take your pre-wedding photos or even get married. The Dead Sea, for example, is a true and one of a kind wonder, and beyond being the titled "the lowest place on earth " it is also incredibly photogenic. We also have an amazing coastal strip with hidden beach spots that are a true gem and are beautiful for taking pictures or having an intimate beach wedding. Alongside the ancient natural resources that make up this country, we have of course the ancient city of Jerusalem - with the extraordinary architecture and the holy atmosphere that is captured in each frame. Iconic sights such as the aqueducts of Caesarea and charming alleys of Old Jaffa are also lovely sites.

The best weather in the world

Say what you will about our country - one thing's for sure, the perfect weather we have is something no one will ever take from us. While in many places in the world you can't even think about a winter wedding on a sunny day in December or a wedding where the wind blows on a hot summer night, here it's completely possible to imagine! The perfect weather we have in Israel aloows us to organize our dream wedding and plan for it to happen anytime of the year, and even if there's a little bit of rain it won't be a "big deal" and won't ruin our special day.

The coolest wedding concepts

Who would have thought that an Israeli wedding can get even more joyful and colorful? Only in Israel we have our very own unique wedding concepts that add a whole lot of color, taste, style and originalty. From holiday concepts such as a dressed up Purim wedding, through a Shavuot theme with elements from the Kibutz, Israeli "Shuk"(market) design with delicious classic Israeli food, to a wedding that is colored in blue and white in the spirit of Independence Day.

A celebration of Israeli flowers

We are proud of our Israeli flowers and we are happy to weave them in floral bouquets or just have them as pretty centerpieces. They don't only add beauty, but a touch of patriotism without realizing it. Shelly, the house designer from Mint Design, tells us that the country's national flower is the anemone, which comes in shades of white, purple, red, blue and pink. One species of anemone grows only in Israel. Another flower is the Iris flower which can be white and purple. Both flowers bloom in the winter - some varieties are grown only in Israel. There are two types of roses that are cultivated in Israel and are usually used in floral arrangements. The delphinium is a flower that grows in Israel as well and its petals remind us of dolphins. Any bride who might be looking for some symbolism in her flower arrangements should know that Madonna lilies are associated with the temple and the land of Israel. It's a white bell flower and it can be found all year around. Its petals resemble the shape of the Star of David on our flag. It's so great and fun to know that we have spectacular Israeli flowers!

Dress Code: Casual and Relaxed

It might be super stylish and very Hollywood of us to show up with a flashy dress and sparkly shoes and just a total glamorous look to your best friend's wedding, however, during the Israeli wedding season we have on average 2 weddings in one week and so we don't quite have the budget to purchase an entire glitzy wardrobe. Unlike in the US and other countries, which followed a strict dress code, Israel is much more relaxed when it comes to their guests' look. Israeli style - for better or worse, is effortless and not very strict. Israelis are not used to walking around in kept suits or Oscar dresses. Overall it's in our favor since the location, the month and the weather in Israel are suitable for a much more relaxed and easy style in a casual atmosphere, so guests could feel at their very best: Whether it's a wedding lunch on the beach which requires light dresses and shorts for men, a wedding in the woods which requires flat shoes or a an urban wedding where it would look ridiculous to wear an unforgettable ball gown. Obviously, we're not saying you should show up in your pajamas but just dress up pretty in whatever you're most comfortable in.

Because we're happy

On one thing you can count on when it comes to Israeli weddings - it's going to be a happy one! Everyone, including the wedding suppliers, join forces on your big day to make you feel the happiest and to make sure to turn your day to a true celebration. Looking back, you will always remember your best friend who kept you company while you were stressing about your hair, or the friend who wouldn't leave the dance floor just so you won't dance alone. Feeling the love and happiness from everyone around you is a one of a kind feeling that you will cherish for the rest of your life.
