Wild + Whimsical DIY Smog Shoppe Wedding: Cici + Albert

If you're dreaming of a day filled with personality, whimsy + fun, you're gonna fall hard for Cici + Albert's amaze handmade Smog Shoppe wedding! An obviously crazy creative duo in their own right, C + A teamed up with friends + fam to execute their vision through DIY projects and weekends spent crafting away for the wedding. Cici, who founded her design company, Crafty Cici, put such a fun personal spin on just about every detail + aspect. It's nearly impossibly to call out our favorite crafts from this one, but the signage, cake topper, and cuddle monsters (you'll read about those in a sec!) are definitely up there! Here's more about the day from the bride...

From the moment we started planning our wedding, Albert and I knew we wanted our special day to capture our quirky and adventurous spirit while keeping it intimate and personal for all our guests. In the months leading up to our big day, I found myself being more and more inspired as I let my imagination take the lead. I was passionate about handcrafting our wedding so that every detail would be unique and reflect who Albert and I were as a couple.

We're majorly loving the bouquets + florals by Milieu Florals! Cici's bouquet is one of the most gorgeous + textural we've seen and we're all about it!

Aside from the bouquets, boutonnières, and table centerpieces, all other florals + vines were from a local craft store, and Cici worked her creative magic to incorporate them into the design!

C says, Our first major inspiration came after finding the perfect venue. We fell in love with Smog Shoppe right away! I'm a sucker for succulents, and the idea of transforming the space into an enchanted forest right in the middle of the busy streets of LA really got me excited. One of the more personal touches was incorporating my Cuddle Monsters, which are handmade dolls that I make for family and friends (follow Cici's work here!). We placed them at the dessert bar with the addition of mini-Cuddle Monsters for our cake-topper. I also illustrated them into everything from our stationery and signage to the personalized guestbooks and place cards. We even transformed our ring boy and flower girl into real-life Cuddle Monsters, and they were absolutely adorable!

Dior, my dog, aka my non-human sister, unfortunately was not allowed at the church or SmogShoppe, so I made a life-sized pillow of her so she could still be with me on my big day!
