"Don't forget what it's all about." Sound words of advice from today's couple whose sweet nuptials grace these pages today.

Tom and Leanne tied the knot on the 15th March 2015 holding an intimate civil ceremony followed by blessing for 110 guests with an after party at Rudding Park. I just adore the attire at this stylish affair, Leanne looked so very stunning her in Mori Lee gown and statement modern heels. Meanwhile Tom donned a navy suit while the maids were in Champagne dresses.

I just adore the pretty pink blooms and the touches of gold. But best of all? That amazing chalkboard wedding cake.

Thanks so very much today to Dan Hough Photo for sending over these glorious images for our delectation.

THE PROPOSAL | 23rd March 2014

THE VISION | Vintage gold and pink colour theme. A small civil ceremony with close family only (around 20), followed by a blessing with all guests (around 110).

THE PLANNING PROCESS | Mostly covered by Rudding Park! We aimed to have completed the process in under a year from proposal, anything not covered by Rudding Park, Leanne got done when she could in between shifts.

THE VENUE | Rudding Park, Harrogate.

THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | Dress was Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner, accessories were various items from Etsy. Shoes were United Nude.

FINDING THE DRESS | A couple of dates with the brides mother in wedding shops in York, and the dress was purchased from Bridal Factory Outlet in Northallerton.

GROOM'S ATTIRE | "Racing Green" Dark Navy Blue 3 piece with light blue shirt and royal blue tie.

THE READINGS & MUSIC | Reading was Colossians 3:12, and a quote from Dr Zeuss. Music in the civil ceremony....Brides Entrance - "Young & Beautiful" by Lana Del Ray, in the chapel....Brides Entrance - "I will wait" by Mumford and Sons, "Kiss me" at the exit! First dance was "You and me song" by the Wannadies.

BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | Champagne Dresses from Coast, Ballet pumps.

THE FLOWERS | Bouquets done by a friend, Bride's - waterfall bouquet with white roses, pink flowers, gypsophila and eucalyptus draping down, the bridesmaid had hand tied posie with raffia of white roses and small pink flower details. The table flowers were goldfish bowls alternating with white tulips and gypsophila and white rose posies.

THE CAKE | Bekah's Little Cakery - two tiered black and pink design (chalkboard effect with names and date of the wedding) surround by flowers, two single tiered pink cakes.

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | The lovely and superb Mr Daniel Hough.

THE HONEYMOON | Cosy cottage in south Wales - cocktails by the log fire.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS | The after party as we felt it was time to relax and let our hair down and the church blessing which was so special and meant so much to us, the vows were hand written and signified a lot to us.

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | The venue was fantastic, we couldn't recommend a place more but I suppose our advice would be that although it is only something you do once, you do not need to pay through the roof to have a wonderful day, just having the people you love around you is all that matters.

Don't forget what it's all about, try not to get caught up in the planning whirlwind but realise it is about the commitment you are about to share.
