Aimee and Davide met at varsity, and after being friends for quite a while they realised that they were meant to be together. Have a look at this beautiful celebration of their love.

He knows that my favourite place in the world is the Kruger Park, and had been joining me for my annual family trips there. In December 2013, he planned an elaborate proposal that involved flying in and hiding his family, a massage overlooking the Sabi River and a very suspicious but excellent game drive (on which we saw a rescued rhino and a leopard and her cub) we came to an open plain where both our families were waiting with champagne, and he got down on one knee to ask me to be his wife.

There were so many memorable moments, my older sister sneaking me jager meister to keep me calm, my best friend giving me the biggest hug in the world, Davide sneaking up to the room I was changing in to pray with me, and taking a step back when it was all done, to look at our family and friends celebrating with us.

It was magical, unforgettable and a great celebration of our relationship.
